Teaching Everyone Animals Matter (TEAM)
TEAM is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that has been formed to help Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation (AC&R) meet its goals. Reducing the number of healthy, adoptable and unredeemed animals who end up at the shelter each year—many of whom ultimately must be destroyed for lack of homes—is the group's primary focus.
Among TEAM's plans are a variety of fundraising and public awareness activities specifically designed to generate support for AC&R programs, projects and staff. Outdoor exercise areas for adoptable dogs...off-site humane education programs...upgraded dog and cat kennel areas to both maintain healthy animals and promote adoptions...annual Care Fair events to bring people and animals together.
