"William" - William is an adorable little poodle mix.   He is a very well-behaved, non-destructive, mellow little gentleman.  He is mostly black with some tan and white and a poodle haircoat.  He came to us from the Sacramento shelter with a ruptured eye that needed to be removed.  He has now had his injured eye removed, has been neutered, microchipped, bloodwork run (everything was normal), heartworm tested, fully vaccinated, treated with 30 day flea prevention, dewormed and had a dental cleaning and polishing.  UPDATE:  WILLIAM HAS BEEN ADOPTED AS OF JANUARY 15, 2005.

"Clancey" is a  4-5 year old border collie.  He was picked up by the animal shelter near death with a large infected injury on his neck.  Thanks to the efforts of the shelter's veterinarian he recovered from this severe injury and although he will have a scar where the injury was, he is completely normal otherwise.  Clancey is an absolute sweetheart (you can probably see that from his picture).  He is loving and gentle and very eager to please.  He is still receiving veterinary care as his injury heals but should be ready to go to a new home by the end of January.  UPDATE:  CLANCEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED.

ChiChi's came to us with 8 precious little babies.  They look like chihuahua/pug crosses but only time will tell for sure.  They are very petite little puppies (for comparison at 4 weeks old they were still smaller - even though growing steadily - than 1 week old dalmatian mix puppies).  This litter has 4 little boys and 4 little girls.  These babies are getting ready for adoption now (being spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated, etc.).  UPDATE:  CHI CHI's BABIES HAVE ALL BEEN ADOPTED AS OF FEBRUARY 5, 2005

In mid-February, 2005 we rescued 9 boxer/pitbull/bullmastiff pups from the Los Banos shelter.  UPDATE:  AS OF MARCH 12, 2005 ALL OF THESE PUPPIES HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. /i/Fosters 0305/linussmall.JPG

"Harvey" - Harvey is such a cute, sweet little puppy.  He is approximately 10 weeks old and is a pitbull terrier mix.  He is brindle with white and the cutest little belly - which he loves to have rubbed.  He came to us from the Sacramento shelter.  He had an obviously broken back leg and we scheduled him for orthopedic surgery immediately.  His pre-op x-rays showed that his other back leg also had a healing fracture.  This little guy has an excellent prognosis once he has had surgery.  He should be ready to go to his new home in late January to early February and is available now to meet potential adopters.  UPDATE:  HARVEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED

"Daisy Mae" is the sweetest, most eager to please, loving little black labrador retriever/Australian shepherd mix.  She is about 2 years old.  She came from an animal shelter in Central California and gave birth to 5 adorable little puppies on January 14, 2005.  She has 3 solid black babies and 2 adorable blue merle babies - 3 girls and 2 boys.  UPDATE - As of February 28, 2005 Daisy Mae's pups are doing GREAT.  And, SURPRISE, they are dachschund mixes, short and long and adorable.  UPDATE:  AS OF MARCH 12, 2005 ALL OF THESE PUPPIES AND MOM HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.
